QA Automation Engineer – Boston, MA

We are seeking to hire a full-time QA Automation Engineer to help enhance the customer-facing applications. As a member of the growing development team, you’ll have the opportunity to establish and manage the automated test process, use cutting edge technologies,  learn new skills, and deliver features that our customers will depend on every day.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret requirements and specifications to develop test plans, test cases and test documentation
  • Develop test automation scripts using Java based automation tools
  • Manage automation framework best practices, strategy and principles
  • Monitor test metrics and communicate to key stakeholders as needed
  • Work closely with software engineers, product managers and user acceptance teams
  • Research, identify and implement newer test automation technologies
  • Experience in developing test scripts and test cases as well as generating test data
  • Enthusiastic about quality, troubleshooting and debugging issues until resolved
  • BS in Computer Science or a related field

Qualifications

  • Have an Agile Testing Mindset
  • Understanding of testing methodologies
  • 3+ years experience with Selenium
  • Experience with testing tools Maven and Cucumber
  • Minimum of 2 years of coding experience
  • Comfortable working in Linux, Windows, iOS & Android environments
  • Experience with CI processes and tools such as Jenkins
  • Experience in developing test scripts and test cases as well as generating test data
  • Enthusiastic about quality, troubleshooting and debugging issues until resolved
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field

Pluses

  • Experience with TestRail, JIRA & Git
  • Mobile testing experience with Appium
  • Familiar with AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge of load and performance testing with JMeter
  • Accounting, construction or field-service domain knowledge
